Panel DXF
Download one full-size CAD file containing every generated panel on its own layer.

Choose either File > Export > DXF (wide-format plotter) or DXF in the panel-viewer export toolbar. There are no format options. The browser downloads panels.dxf.
From the viewer toolbar, DXF… is shown while the request is running. The File-menu path has no in-progress label. A failed request produces no usable file and appears in the current surface's error message.

The file uses millimetres and retains the panels at their own local coordinates. It does not arrange them side by side. When every layer is visible, the panels therefore overlap; use the CAD layer list to isolate the panel you want to inspect or plot.
Each panel layer can contain:
- the closed, solid cut boundary;
- a dashed seam-allowance line outside each seam owned by that panel;
- short match-mark ticks along shared seams;
- a centred 25 mm warp-direction mark;
- the short panel number and seam labels such as Allow seam or Join 6.
The current design's cloth material, weight, and roll width are also stored as file metadata. Corner reinforcement patterns are not included; use Corner Patches DXF for those.
Verify the CAD view
Confirm millimetre units
Open the file without rescaling and confirm the CAD document is in millimetres.
Isolate one layer at a time
Turn off the other panel layers. The isolated outline should be a single panel, not the apparent stack produced by showing every local-coordinate layer.
Check labels and allowance ownership
Match the short number to the panel viewer. Confirm that a dashed allowance appears only on edges labelled Allow seam; an edge labelled cut to line uses the solid boundary.
Measure before plotting or cutting
Check a known panel dimension in CAD and verify the output from the downstream plotter or cutter. This format has no printed calibration rectangle.
Not a cloth layout
The file has one layer per panel but does not nest those layers on the roll. Use Cloth Layout DXF when you need actual roll-width placement.
