Contact MakeSail

MakeSail is a browser-based sail-design CAD application for DIY sailmakers, available at makesail.nl.

MakeSail is still in active development. The developers have used it to build paper prototypes of all sail types, as well as a working storm jib and Code 0 for an Albin Vega. Please let us know by email if you discover glitches in other sail types or have feature requests. The standard sail template already includes a head edge, so it could easily be extended to traditional four-sided sails used in lug, gaff and sprit rigs, although menu defaults for these are not yet available.
